
Position: Manager Monitoring and Evaluation

Job Purpose:
As the M&E Manager, your role is to ensure high standard delivery of our project managing the Monitoring and Evaluation strategy aligned with our donors’ needs. You will play a key role in ensuring effective data collection, analysis, and reporting, aligning with our vision and mission. Through your expertise, you will guide the organization in making data-driven decisions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic M&E Leadership
- Develop and implement the organization’s M&E strategy, aligning it with our overall vision and mission.
- Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track program progress and impact.
- Design and implement qualitative and quantitative data collection
methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis tools. - Manage the M&E data lifecycle, from data collection and cleaning to analysis and reporting.
- Make field visits to any location for observation & monitoring the projects
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Conduct regular data analysis to assess program performance against KPIs and objectives.
- Prepare clear, concise, and informative M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and program teams in a way that promotes strategic decision-making.
Capacity Building and Training
- Provide training and coaching to program staff on M&E processes, tools, and best practices.
- Integrate M&E principles into program design, implementation, and monitoring activities.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Monitor Trainings, identify any red flags, Propose solutions according to SOPs
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of M&E data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Monitor compliance with donor requirements and M&E best practices.
- Conduct periodic M&E system audits and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E, preferably in the NGO sector.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, including data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional desired requirements:
- Experience working with qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge of donor reporting requirements and M&E best practices.
- Experience using M&E software platforms.
- Strong commitment to social justice and equity.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Pakistan
