About

She Loves Tech is the world’s largest startup competition for women and technology including an acceleration program, resource matching and global pitch competitions.

She Loves Tech was brought to Pakistan in 2017 with support from HBL with the aim of creating a robust startup ecosystem in the country to facilitate women entrepreneurs, especially in the field of tech through greater visibility, access to mentorship, funding and a community of like-minded women.

She Loves Tech Pakistan is brought to Pakistan with support from Habib Bank Limited.

Program Timeline

  • Largest startup competition brought to Pakistan and hosted in Karachi.
  • Anusha Fatime wins the Pakistan competition for her startup ‘TrashIT’.
  • She Loves Tech Pakistan expanded to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad with HBL and Ignite as partners.
  • Saba Khalid wins the competition for her startup ‘AuratRaaj’.
  • Pakistan winner goes to Beijing for the finals.
  • Expanded to five cities now including Peshawar and Abbottabad with HBL and UNDP as partners.
  • Team SLT Pakistan traveled 2025 kms across Pakistan in train to inspire and encourage women entrepreneurs in tech to participate in the competition.
  • Yishel Khan wins the competition for her startup ‘DOT mind unlocked’.
  • Yishel represents Pakistan in final round in Beijing.
  • Competition goes online including startups from 10 cities with HBL and UNDP as partners.
  • Hira Irshad, CEO of APRUS Technologies was hailed as the winner of She Loves Tech Pakistan 2020.
  • Competition continues online with HBL, UNDP and Unilever as partners.
  • Aiman Bashir, CEO of Outclass was announced the winner of She Loves Tech Pakistan 2021.
  • Competition revives its on-ground activities with 8 local rounds across Pakistan.
  • HBL continues as the Exclusive partner for the competition.
  • Dr. Sarah Alam wins the competition for her startup Tibbi.com
  • Dr. Sarah represents Pakistan in Singapore.
