
Position: Manager HR

Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Manager at Circle will be responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of human resources functions within the organization. This includes providing leadership to the HR team, developing and implementing HR policies, and supporting the organization’s mission of empowering women through various projects. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with the Assistant Manager HR and other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective human resources strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the overall strategic planning process.
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, including the Assistant Manager HR.
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Oversee the recruitment process for key positions, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
- Work with the Assistant Manager HR to optimize recruitment strategies for women empowerment projects.
Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with organizational values.
- Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolutions as needed.
- Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management systems in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with the Assistant Manager HR to implement relevant programs.
- Support the professional development of employees working on women empowerment initiatives.
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Communicate policies effectively and ensure adherence across the organization.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, making recommendations for enhancements.
- Oversee the expense reimbursement approval process and claim management.
- Ensure benefits align with the organization’s commitment to employee well-being.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of HR records.
- Generate reports for management, utilizing data for informed decision-making.
- Community Engagement:
- Represent the organization at community events and forums, building partnerships for HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager HR to strengthen community ties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in a senior HR role, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, policies, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
